I have a blog!
This is fun!
Laura is a stylist, costumer, maker, writer, author, amateur baker, full-time dog mom. Sometimes she's a Lifestyle Consultant. Other times she's just someone who will give you her opinion if you want it.
Laura began her career as a Set Dresser and Decorator for television and Film. After relocating to New York City in 1997, she decided to switch gears and move into print and editorial work. By 2000, she was working steadily as a freelance stylist and market editor focusing on home, lifestyle and tabletop products and design.
She has co-written a series of books on wedding style called One-of-a-Kind Weddings (Creative Publishing International. 2008). She has also written a book on entertaining entitled Girls’ Night In (Ryland Peters and Small. 2006), presenting fun and decidedly feminine ideas for home entertaining. She has leant her expert advice to columns in Woman’s World and Bridal Guide Magazines.
Laura currently works as a stylist and contributor. Her clients include Colin Cowie, Martha Stewart Weddings, Home, Seventeen, Lifetime, Family Circle Home Crafts, Vogue Knitting, Vera Bradley, Time Inc. and Everyday with Rachel Ray. She has contributed to books for Soho Publishing Company, Chronicle Books, Clarkson Potter and The Taunten Press. She has since moved back to Los Angeles, adopted a dog (see Ginger above) and has become a favorite among her friends as she frequently bears baked goods.
