Scout it Out - Yuzu Hot Sauce

If you go to good sushi then you know that Yuzu is delicious.  It's a type of citrus, kinda like a lime but funkier.  It's pretty common in Japanese cooking.  Yuzu paste is sold in Japanese markets or on Amazon and is great for cooking.

OK, I know I can't legally sell things from Trader Joe's.  Technically, I'm not actually selling anything.  But if I could, it would be the Yuzu Hot Sauce.  OMG you guys, it's the bomb.  It's a light, vinegar-y hot sauce with a citrus blast.  There's not a ton of heat but it adds pizazz to some basic stuff.  I've been eating it on Trader Joe's egg white salad (another long time favorite).  It does the trick.  If you see it, get it.  It's becoming very popular.  Don't miss out.
